Shipping and Returns

Delivery Time

You can view the expected delivery time for each product on its individual product page. Typically, deliveries take 2–5 working days.

  • Please note that ordering verification or a calibration certificate will add 2 extra days to the delivery time.

True-Precision cannot be held responsible for financial losses resulting from delayed delivery.

Shipping Costs and Risk

True-Precision offers free delivery on all shipments to the nearest collection point, with no handling fees. For some products, you may choose delivery to a private address for a fee of 5£ . The availability of this option depends on the warehouse from which the item is shipped. Delivery options for your product will be displayed at checkout.

All shipments are sent fully insured.

Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (excluding the carrier), take physical possession of the goods. You must contact True-Precision within 14 days of receiving the goods to exercise your right of withdrawal. You then have 14 days to physically return the package.

Note: The cost of calibration certificates and verifications will not be refunded, as these involve manual work.

Return Costs

The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs when returning a regretted purchase. If the customer refuses to accept delivery, fails to collect their parcel from the collection point, or provides an incorrect delivery address, the customer will be charged for the return shipping costs plus an administration fee of £7.50.

Condition of the item, packaging, and wrapping upon return
  1. Condition of the item: The item may be tried, but not used to an extent that it cannot be resold. If the item cannot be resold at the original price, the buyer will be responsible for the depreciation, which will be deducted from the refund. See the section on Depreciation.

Packaging: When the item is securely packed in its original packaging, it must be further packed to ensure that neither the packaging nor the product itself is damaged during shipping. We recommend using a cardboard box appropriate for the size of the product. If the item is not properly packed and the product or its packaging is damaged as a result, the buyer will be responsible for the depreciation, which will be deducted from the refund. See the section on Depreciation.

Depreciation

The loss of value is determined based on an overall assessment by the product managers at True-Precision, who have the most knowledge of the items’ value and sales potential. Each return is therefore assessed individually based on the condition of the item and any defects.

The following examples of defects can be seen as indicative rates and depend on the overall assessment and the severity of the defect or damage:

  • Missing product manual: 25% of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund

  • Missing accessories: 25% of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund

  • Damaged packaging: 25% of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund

  • Missing packaging: 25% of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund

Returning part of an order

At True-Precision, you can return part of a purchase. This means that if, for example, you have bought two scales, it is possible to return just one of them. However, any delivery costs are non-refundable for this type of return.

Returning an Item
  1. Contact customer service to report your return (provide your order number, product, and reason)
  2. Place the item in its original packaging and pack it securely, including a copy of the invoice.
Note: See the section above, “Condition, Packaging, and Packing of Returned Goods.” If packaging or accessories are missing, the product shows signs of use, or the item is improperly packed for shipping, the buyer will be responsible for the reduction in value through a reduced refund.
  3. Return the package to the following address:
    True-Precision.co.uk/Value Group Aps
    Lyreskovvej 7
    6330 Padborg
    Denmark

Warranty

You have a 2-year warranty on all products except batteries.
Since batteries have a naturally limited lifespan, the warranty period for these is limited to 6 months from the date of purchase.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
  1. Contact customer service to report your claim – provide your order number, product, and details of the fault.

    • Phone: 01253 928009

    • Email: Support@true-precision.co.uk

If the item is faulty and you report it within the allowed time, we will remedy the fault or defect within a reasonable period. If it proves impossible or impractical to repair the item, we will instead provide a replacement item in perfect condition once the faulty item has been returned. We will also refund any documented costs associated with the return. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, we will refund the purchase price, including return shipping costs.

    For Replacement or Refund:
Customer service will send you a prepaid return label with the return address, which should be attached to the package containing the faulty item.

Once the item is received and inspected, we will send a replacement item. For a refund, the amount will be credited to your account within 7 days.

Notification of the defect within a reasonable time
  1. If you wish to make a claim for a defect, you must notify us within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. Otherwise, you will lose the right to make a claim. Notification given within two months of discovering the defect is always considered timely.

If you have not notified us of a defect within two years of the item being delivered to you, you will no longer be able to make a claim, unless we have explicitly agreed to a longer warranty period.

Delivery Time

You can see the expected delivery time for each product on its individual product page. Typically, delivery takes 1–4 days.

  • If you purchase verification or a calibration certificate, an additional 2 days will be added to the delivery time.

True-Precision is not responsible for any financial loss resulting from delayed delivery.

Businesses have a 7-day right of withdrawal from the day the goods are physically received by the business or a third party designated by the business (but not the carrier).
The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs of a withdrawn purchase.

If packaging, accessories, or documents are missing or damaged, the buyer will be responsible for the loss of value, which will be deducted from the refund. See the section on Loss of Value.

Packing for Return: Once the item is securely packed in its original packaging, it must be further packed to ensure that neither the packaging nor the product itself is damaged during shipping. Warranty Claim

The customer is obliged to immediately, and no later than the day after receipt of a delivery, check the goods/services and examine them for any defects. In the case of delivery damaged in transit, the delivery must be refused or accepted with reservations noted on the terminal/shipping document. Transport damage refers to visible external damage to the packaging.

True-Precision can only be held liable for remedying original defects in accordance with the provisions of the Sale of Goods Act. If the customer discovers defects or deficiencies, they must immediately submit a written complaint to True-Precision specifying the defect in question. Failure to notify in due time will result in the loss of the right to claim for defects.

The complaint period is in any case limited to 12 months from the date of delivery. After this period, the customer can no longer rely on the defect. For third-party products, the complaint period is as stated in the supplier’s applicable warranty terms. Replacement or repair does not initiate a new 12-month complaint period.

True-Precisions liability for defects is always limited, at True-Precision’s discretion, to either rectification or replacement within a reasonable time.

True-Precision is not responsible for defects caused by changes made by the customer, repairs carried out by anyone other than True-Precision or its authorised service partners.

No additional warranty is provided by True-Precisions unless expressly agreed in writing. Warranty and service obligations beyond what has been expressly agreed in writing with True-Precision are the responsibility of the manufacturer and its service provider.

Procedure for complaints
  1. Contact customer service and report the complaint—provide your order number, product, and description of the defect.
    Phone: 01253 928009
    Email: Support@true-precision.co.uk

If the product has a defect or deficiency and you have reported it in a timely manner, we will remedy such defects within a reasonable time. If it is not possible, or if we do not consider it appropriate to repair the product, we will instead provide a new, defect-free product upon return of the faulty item. We will also reimburse any documented costs associated with the return. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, we will refund the purchase price, including return shipping costs.

For replacement or refund: Customer service will send you a prepaid return label with the return address, which you should attach to the package containing the defective product and send it back.
Once the item has been received and inspected, we will send you a new product for replacement. For a refund, the amount will be credited to your account within 7 days.
