SAUTER TN-EE Thickness Gauge with Echo-Echo measurement can determine the actual material thickness – even if there is paint, coating, or other surface treatment. This makes it possible to measure, for example, the wall thickness of pipes without removing the surface layer. The gauge automatically compensates for the coating thickness, so the displayed measurement corresponds to the pure material. Additionally, the gauge supports a scan function, performing up to 10 measurements per second, allowing continuous measurement. The SAUTER TN-EE is delivered complete and ready to use – including measuring sensor, batteries, calibration plate, and ultrasound gel – all packed in a robust and practical case. The calibration plate is integrated into the gauge, so it is always readily available. Thanks to the wide range of sound velocities, the gauge can be set for most materials. The thickness gauge has memory for 20 files, with up to 100 measurements per file.
