Description
KERN ORM Digital Refractometer
The KERN ORM digital refractometer delivers precise and fast results. The large screen is easy to read, and the integrated software allows the refractometer to display results in various scales. Thanks to ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation), manual conversions are not necessary, making the ORM efficient and time-saving. Additionally, the ORM is IP65 rated, meaning it can be rinsed under running water after use.
ORM-AL and ORM-BR models are especially suitable for determining the sugar content in the original wort in its unfermented state. Values can be read directly using the SG Wort and Degrees Plato scales, without the need for conversion. In addition, the volume percentage can be measured in clear spirits. The display can switch between Brix and refractive index.
Main applications: Alcohol production, Beer brewing
The ORM comes with a protective prism cover, pipette, storage case, screwdriver, and AAA battery. A calibration certificate can also be ordered.
