Description
KERN ORA refractometers are ideal, simple instruments for measuring various refractive indices. They are easy to use, portable, and operate without batteries or external power. Each comes in a storage box with all necessary measurement accessories: calibration solution, calibration block (if required), pipette, screwdriver, and cleaning cloth.
The ORA F/U model is specifically designed for the automotive industry and is particularly suitable for measuring AdBlue, glycol concentration (ethylene: EG and propylene: PG), battery fluid (BF), urea, and the freezing point of windshield washer fluid (CW). Additionally, these models are suitable for measuring temperature in heat exchange systems.
Model numbers ending with “A” feature ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation), meaning measurements are automatically adjusted for temperature, making the device usable between 10 and 30℃. Without ATC, measurements are calibrated at 20℃.
