Description
ORM CO is specially designed to measure dissolved solids (TDS) in coffee to determine or compare the strength of a cup of coffee. For roasting facilities, the TDS% value is used to assess the solubility level of a roast and to monitor quality. Alternatively, the display can be switched to show Brix or refractive index.
The ORM digital refractometer is a versatile instrument suitable for many different industries. It provides highly precise measurements quickly and easily, with approximately 10,000 measurements on a single AAA battery. Additionally, the ORM has IP65 protection, making it dustproof and water-resistant, allowing it to be cleaned under running water after use.
The ORM comes with a special prism cover, a pipette, a storage case, a screwdriver, and a AAA battery. A calibration certificate can also be ordered.
