Description
The KERN OCM is an inverted microscope. With the objectives positioned below the stage, this microscope provides a larger working space, allowing thicker samples to be observed. This makes it especially suitable for viewing bacterial cultures in petri dishes or flasks. The microscope features a large mechanical stage and comes with holders for 54 mm petri dishes and Ø110 drop samples. Additional holders can be purchased separately as accessories.
The OCM 167 and 168 models also include fluorescent LED illumination. Combined with the Abbe N.A. 0.3 condenser and a large 72 mm working distance, this ensures optimal results in bright-field fluorescent applications.
A protective cover and lens caps are included. A wide range of eyepieces, lenses, and filters are available as optional accessories.
