Description

The KERN OKM metallurgical microscope with reflected light is ideal for material and surface testing. The powerful, continuously dimmable 30W halogen illumination ensures optimal lighting. An integrated filter wheel with 5 different filters (blue, green, yellow, grey, and bright) makes it easy to switch color filters and quickly achieve different contrasts. The microscope is equipped with "long working distance" objectives, which also allow observation of thicker samples. In addition, the OKM comes standard with a simple polarizing unit.

Protective eyecups and a dust cover are included with the microscope. A selection of objectives and eyepieces is available as accessories. The OKM is a trinocular microscope, which means it is possible to connect a camera or tablet to the microscope. Contact us for more information about these options.
